Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our Hunter Steel team.
Responsibilities
Operate a 20' flatbed truck to transport steel within a 100km radius, must be comfortable with downtown deliveries. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, and proof of delivery from customers. Communicate effectively with office staff and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Operate forklifts or other heavy equipment when required for loading or unloading. Assisting with warehouse duties when assigned Company supplied uniforms and benefits provided after probationary period Must be 25+
Experience
Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid G drivers license with clean driver's abstract. Experience handling freight and understanding logistics processes is a plus. Basic automotive repair skills are advantageous for maintaining vehicle functionality. Forklift operation experience is desirable but not mandatory.
