Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver DZ to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating various types of trucks, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks, to deliver freight efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong focus on safety, adherence to transportation regulations, and excellent driving skills. The Truck Driver DZ will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Responsibilities

Operate trucks with manual transmission and other specialized equipment such as forklifts when necessary Drive tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks to transport freight across routes Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently at various delivery points Ensure all freight is secured properly before transit to prevent damage or accidents Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and other required documentation Assist with route planning to optimize delivery schedules and efficiency

Skills

Valid DZ license with proven driving experience in commercial trucking Experience with boom/crane operation is a plus Strong knowledge of freight handling including load & unload procedures Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles confidently Familiarity with route driving and delivery driver experience is highly desirable Basic understanding of forklift operation is a plus Excellent driving record with a focus on safety and compliance Good communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
