Requirements:
Class 1 driver\xe2\x80\x99s license- 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience
- Experience with b-trains would be considered an asset
- Updated driver\xe2\x80\x99s abstract & criminal record search
- Some physical activity
- Positive attitude, work ethic, and attention to safety

Deliveries and backhauls throughout the Maritimes and Quebec.
Operate vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
Daily pre and post trip inspections of vehicle and trailer to ensure that they are in safe operating condition. Document and report any technical or maintenance problems to Dispatch.
Maintain vehicle\xe2\x80\x99s cleanliness.
Communicate with Dispatch as required.
Comply with all Government regulations pertaining to driving position Highway Traffic Act, Labor Canada, National Safety Code and all regulations described in the professional Driver\xe2\x80\x99s Manual.
Treat Dealers in a courteous and helpful manner, acting as an ambassador for Home Hardware Stores Limited.
Complete and deliver all necessary paperwork for the dispatch office and receiving office. Use of on-board technology as required for the job.
