Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong understanding of freight handling, commercial driving, and the operation of heavy equipment.

Duties

Operate trucks to transport freight to designated locations while following all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Load and unload cargo using forklifts or by hand as needed, ensuring proper handling of materials. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport. Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle as necessary to ensure optimal performance. This job requires HEAVY lifting though-out each day and each delivery is lumping

Requirements

Valid driver's license (abstract) is required with a clean driving abstract. Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight transportation. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, particularly forklifts, is preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices while on the road. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Customer service experience preferred

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 42 per week

Work Location: In person
