Overview

Blacktop Asphalt Paving Ltd. is seeking a skilled and reliable Class 3 Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience operating commercial vehicles and transporting materials for paving or construction projects. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and teamwork.

Wage is negotiable based on experience.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate Class 3 vehicles, including dump trucks and other equipment as required. Transport asphalt, gravel, and other materials to and from job sites. Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed. Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Ensure all loads are properly secured and comply with weight regulations. Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining efficiency. Communicate effectively with site supervisors and crew members. Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and local traffic laws. Assist with general labor duties on job sites when necessary. Keep vehicles clean and in good working condition, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.

Requirements:

Valid Class 3 Driver's License with a clean driving record. Minimum 3 years of experience operating commercial vehicles, preferably in paving or construction. Experience transporting asphalt, gravel, or other construction materials is an asset. Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices. Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and working in various weather conditions. Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment. Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekends as required.
