Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of freight.

Duties

Operate heavy-duty trucks to transport freight to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations related to transportation. Assist in minor automotive repairs as needed to ensure the vehicle remains in optimal condition.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record. Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety regulations. Strong mechanical aptitude for basic automotive repairs is preferred. Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading freight.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.80-$25.00 per hour
