Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Class 1 Truck Driver to join our team in Victoria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods independently, with the support of our dispatch team and fellow local drivers.

Current available shifts are Monday - Friday (daytime). no long hauls or overnighters.

Responsibilities:

Operate Class 1 commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner. Transport goods and materials to designated locations across Greater Vancouver and Southern Interior. Adhere to all relevant safety regulations and company policies. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the proper functioning of vehicles and equipment. Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules. Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company in a professional manner at all times.

Qualifications:

Valid Class 1 driver's license with a clean driving record. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Class 1 Truck Driver. Strong knowledge of Victoria and Vancouver Island. Good command of English both written and oral. Ability to work independently while also being a team player. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant regulations. Experience with power walkies an asset but not required, as we will train the right person.
