Truck Driver Class 1
Job Description
We are seeking a Class 1 Driver to join our team!
We are looking for either full time year round or full time seasonal. The seasonal would start from June 1 to November 1.
Requirements
Class 1 driver's license with clean abstract (max 3 demerits)
Clean Commercial Driver's Abstract printed within 30 days
Maintenance/Heavy Duty repair experience is an asset
Silage/Manure driving experience would be a asset
Positive attitude and work ethic
Ability to handle physical workload

We are a custom farming company that specializes in Silage and Compost located in Taber, AB.
Responsibilities
Operate and drive Class 1 trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Manage silage and compost loading and unloading, Maintain accurate workbook of driving hours and loads Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road. Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance as needed to ensure optimal vehicle performance.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 80 per week
Schedule:
Every Weekend Monday to Friday Weekends as needed
