Job Description
Founded in 2018, Riteway Excavating LTD. has been growing steadily and is currently looking for a reliable CLASS 1 Manual Truck Driver to join our team. Operating out of the Lower Mainland, B.C., we specialize in both commercial and residential projects, as well as hauling services. Our motto, "Building Futures The Rite Way," reflects our dedication to quality and service.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure timely arrival at the yard for dispatch.
Perform comprehensive pre- and post-trip inspections in compliance with Transport Canada standards.
Operate the truck safely to deliver efficient service and meet delivery schedules.
Perform routine maintenance on the truck, promptly notifying the supervisor of any issues.
Requirements:
A valid Class 1 driver's license.
Experience operating trucks with a pony trailer.
At least THREE YEARS of experience driving commercial trucks.
Basic understanding of road safety regulations while hauling.
Physical fitness to handle job demands.
Ability to operate the truck across various work sites and delivery locations in the Lower Mainland, including Surrey and Vancouver.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $26.00-$27.00 per hour
