Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle freight and heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment as necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transit. Ensure that all cargo is secured properly before departure to prevent damage during transport. Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.

Requirements

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required. Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record. Knowledge of freight handling procedures and heavy equipment operation. Familiarity with automotive repair is a plus for maintaining vehicle performance. Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
