We are seeking a dependable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight to various destinations while ensuring timely deliveries. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, utilizing a range of skills including commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and vehicle maintenance.

Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight over designated routes Load and unload cargo using forklifts and other heavy equipment when necessary Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle readiness Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities

Skills

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with clean driving record Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, and other industrial machinery is preferred Knowledge of freight handling and securement techniques Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting on trucks Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining logs and documentation Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various conditions
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$28.01 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 70 per week
