Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves safely operating 3 ton and EV vans vehicles to deliver home furniture's efficiently and on schedule. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, knowledge of heavy equipment operation, and a commitment to safety and customer service. This position offers opportunities for professional growth and development within a dynamic logistics environment. Drivers will need to perform professionally and be able to communicate and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

Safely operate trucks for the transportation of freight across designated routes and delivery points Load and unload cargo or other heavy equipment as necessary Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance to ensure optimal operation Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulations Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules and issues Assist with the handling of freight, ensuring proper securing and safety during transit Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during operations

Skills

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Experience in commercial driving or related fields Proficiency in heavy equipment handling is a plus Basic automotive repair knowledge for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and safety procedures Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments Be able to follow instructions as per the customer request Be on time for delivery/loadout
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $150.00-$200.00 per day

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
