Windley Contacting is currently seeking an experienced

Truck Driver

with proven skills operating

truck and pup

and

quad-axle

configurations. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, and familiar with hauling aggregates, fill, and other construction materials to and from project sites.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate truck and pup or quad truck to haul materials to and from job sites, Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections in compliance with company and CVSE regulations, Maintain accurate load and delivery documentation, Work closely with dispatch and site supervisors for efficient hauling coordination, Perform minor maintenance and cleaning of equipment as needed, Follow company safety policies and WorkSafeBC requirements at all times.

Qualifications:

Valid Class 1 BC Driver's Licence with clean abstract, Minimum 2 years of experience with truck and pup and/or quad truck operation, Knowledge of load securement, dump sites, and material handling, Strong communication and teamwork skills, Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends.

Assets:

Experience in civil construction and / or aggregate hauling Familiarity with local roads and project sites across Vancouver Island. Valid safety tickets (e.g., First Aid, WHMIS)
