Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting equipment safely and efficiently to various locations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service, ensuring that freight is delivered in excellent condition.

Duties

Operate commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts and other heavy equipment as necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on the truck as needed. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to transportation.

Skills

Proficient in commercial driving with a valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License). Experience in operating forklifts and heavy equipment. Knowledge of freight handling procedures and best practices. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform basic automotive repairs. Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Attention to detail for maintaining accurate delivery records. Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
