We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, reliability, and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Operate and drive heavy trucks to transport freight to various locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times. Communicate with dispatchers regarding routes, schedules, and any issues that arise during transport. Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations governing commercial driving. Assist in basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability. Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as required for loading and unloading tasks.

Qualifications

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required. Experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight transportation. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred. Basic knowledge of automotive repair is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality and reliability. Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy.
