Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Duties

Operate trucks to transport freight to designated locations in a timely manner Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklifts and other equipment as necessary Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the truck as needed Ensure that all freight is secured properly for transportation

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record Familiarity with heavy equipment operation and freight handling procedures Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently is preferred Strong problem-solving skills with basic automotive repair knowledge Excellent time management skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Must pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policy
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $26.50-$29.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
