Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to manage logistics effectively. As a Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of service.

Duties

Operate commercial trucks to transport freight over long distances. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and cargo information. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transit. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability. Operate heavy equipment or forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading tasks.

Requirements

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required. Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight transportation. Familiarity with automotive repair is a plus, enabling quick fixes on the road. Experience operating heavy equipment or forklifts is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. Must pass background checks and drug screenings as required by company policies.
