As we continue to grow, we are looking for one individual of highly skilled and professional Class 1 licensed driver to join our dynamic team in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Position Summary:

We are seeking experienced and professional class 1 driver teams for full-time position. You will be responsible for long-haul routes across Canada and the U.S., ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This is an excellent opportunity for team who value a well-maintained fleet, consistent work, and competitive pay.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a tractor-trailer or other large commercial vehicle for long-haul trips across Canada and the U.S.
• Safely load, transport, and deliver freight in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with all transportation laws, including hours of service regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure roadworthiness.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and trip records.

Requirements:

• Valid class 1 driver's license with a clean driving abstract.
• Must be able to operate in team.
• Minimum of 2 years of verifiable class 1 driving experience.
• Experience with cross-border hauling preferred.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and a positive attitude with clients and team members.

Pay: From $71,500.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Halifax, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Commercial driving: 2 years (preferred)
