Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting equipment & waste safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment.

Duties

Safely operate a commercial truck to transport equipment & waste over long and short distances. Load and unload equipment ensuring proper handling and securing of equipment & attachments . Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of driving hours and vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise. Operate heavy equipment as needed for loading and unloading tasks. Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure optimal performance.

Experience

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid Class 1 License. Familiarity with freight handling procedures and regulations. Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred. Knowledge of basic automotive repair techniques is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record-keeping. Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
