We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and adherence to safety regulations. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, utilizing skills in heavy equipment operation and automotive repair as needed.

Duties

Safely operate trucks for local and regional freight deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols. Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure mechanical safety and compliance with company standards. Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle records, and freight documentation. Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting on trucks to address mechanical issues promptly. Assist with warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and organizing freight shipments. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients regarding delivery schedules or issues that may arise.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, Manual truck driving experience, Super-B experience required Knowledge of automotive repair basics to troubleshoot minor mechanical problems. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and safety procedures. Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks associated with freight handling. Commitment to safety standards and regulations governing commercial vehicle operation.
