Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various routes. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle different types of trucks

Responsibilities

Operate and drive various types of trucks including refrigerated trailers Execute route driving to deliver freight to designated locations in a timely manner. Load and unload cargo safely using appropriate equipment such as forklifts. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transportation. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.

Skills

Proficient in manual transmission operation. Experience with refrigerated trailers Strong truck driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and best practices. Previous delivery driver experience is highly desirable. Ability to operate forklifts for loading and unloading tasks. Knowledge of freight handling procedures and route planning. Capable of performing minor maintenance tasks on the vehicle as needed.
