Job Description

We are seeking a

reliable and experienced Class 1/A Long Haul Truck Driver

to join our transportation team in Canada. This role involves operating commercial trucks to transport freight safely and efficiently across provinces, ensuring on-time deliveries and full compliance with Canadian transportation standards. The ideal candidate will have strong long-haul experience, a clean driving record, and a commitment to safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities



Safely operate Class 1/A commercial trucks for long-haul deliveries within Canada Plan and complete routes efficiently to ensure timely freight delivery Perform

mandatory pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections

in compliance with Transport Canada regulations Maintain accurate

ELD (Electronic Logging Device)

records in accordance with Canadian Hours of Service requirements Ensure cargo is properly secured and handled according to load safety standards Load and unload freight when required. Report any vehicle defects, incidents, or safety concerns immediately Follow all company policies and

federal and provincial safety regulations

at all times

Skills & Qualifications



Valid

Class 1 or Class 1/A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)

Minimum 2 years of safe class 1 long-haul driving experience within Canada.

Clean driving record

with no violations or preventable accidents Experience with freight transportation and heavy equipment operation Knowledge of

Canadian Hours of Service

, ELD use, and trip documentation procedures

Good English communication skills

, both verbal and written, for coordinating with dispatchers and customers Strong navigation, time management, and trip planning skills
