Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of freight.
Duties
Operate and drive heavy trucks to transport goods over long distances. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding schedules and any issues that arise during transit. Follow all safety protocols to ensure the safe transportation of goods.
Qualifications
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. A minimum of two years. Experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record. Familiarity with freight handling procedures and regulations. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
