Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment.

Duties

Safely operate trucks to transport freight to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, utilizing forklift equipment as necessary. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and vehicle maintenance. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on the truck as needed. Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding transportation and safety.

Requirements

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. Experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record. Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred. Knowledge of freight handling procedures and regulations. Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and compliance. Basic automotive repair skills are a plus. Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. Pay: $29.50 per hour
