Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight across various locations. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining the integrity of the cargo. Candidates with skills in heavy equipment operation, automotive repair, and forklift operation are highly valued to support various logistical needs.

Duties

Safely operate trucks for local and long-distance freight deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, routes, and vehicle logs Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness Assist with warehouse operations, including inventory management and freight handling Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transit

Experience

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Prior experience in commercial driving, freight transportation, or related logistics roles preferred Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, or other industrial machinery is a plus Knowledge of automotive repair basics is advantageous Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and safety procedures Proven ability to follow safety protocols and maintain professionalism on the road

Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
