We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and goods across various routes. Duties

Safely operate trucks for local or long-distance freight delivery, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness Coordinate with warehouse staff for efficient loading/unloading processes Follow scheduled routes and delivery timelines, adjusting plans as necessary for traffic or weather conditions Ensure cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit

Skills

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience with freight transportation and commercial driving operations Proficiency in forklift operation and heavy equipment handling Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting vehicle issues on the road Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently Strong organizational skills for managing delivery schedules and documentation Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients Commitment to safety protocols and regulatory compliance
