Responsibilities

Safely operate trucks to transport freight over designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with company standards Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and documentation for each trip Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle functionality Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse staff regarding schedules, delays, or issues during transit

Skills

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with clean driving record Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts and other machinery used in freight handling Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols Ability to perform basic automotive repairs and troubleshooting on trucks and related equipment Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and documentation Excellent communication skills for coordination with team members and clients Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments
