Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. Need two year experience, dedicated runs hook and drop 12000 miles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and goods across designated routes, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining the highest safety standards. This role requires a strong focus on vehicle operation, adherence to traffic laws, and efficient handling of freight loads. Candidates with skills in forklift operation, heavy equipment handling, and automotive repair are highly valued to support various operational needs.

Responsibilities

Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight and goods to various locations according to schedule. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and securement. Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status. Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness. Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities. Assist with warehouse duties including loading, unloading, and inventory management when required.

Experience

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with clean driving record. Prior experience in freight transportation or commercial driving preferred. Skills in forklift operation, heavy equipment operation, and automotive repair are advantageous. Knowledge of safety regulations related to trucking, freight handling, and vehicle maintenance. Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various environments. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation and compliance purposes.
