Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving, including but not limited to refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers. This role involves transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. The Truck Driver will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the freight.

Responsibilities

Operate various types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and flatbeds. Drive routes as assigned, ensuring timely delivery of freight to designated locations. Load and unload cargo using forklifts or manual methods as necessary. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays. Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations. Ensure the proper handling of refrigerated goods when applicable.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. Familiarity with different types of trailers including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and dump trucks is a plus. Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles is highly desirable. Ability to load and unload freight safely and efficiently. Strong knowledge of route driving and navigation skills. Excellent time management skills with the ability to adhere to schedules. Pay: $21.34-$28.21 per hour
