Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for picking up material from asphalt plants, gravel pits and other sites. Loading and unloading equipment efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and reliability, as well as the ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment.
Responsibilities
Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload equipment as necessary. Maintain accurate records of truck and equipment. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding any issues that arise during transport.
Experience
Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Familiarity with equipment operation is preferred. Basic knowledge of automotive repair techniques is advantageous. Training may be provided.
