Position: Truck Driver

About LMS Reinforcing Steel Group ("LMS"):

LMS is a leading independent fabricator and installer of reinforcing steel in Western Canada. LMS services the residential, commercial, civil, industrial, mining and hydro construction sectors in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

LMS currently employs 650 personnel across Western Canada and is growing at an exponential rate.

LMS Reinforcing Steel is a leader in the construction industry with our head office located in Surrey, British Columbia and regional offices in Calgary, Alberta and Bakersfield, California.

We are currently recruiting Truck Drivers for local flat deck work throughout the lower mainland.

Responsibilities:

40 hours per week with overtime;

This position requires deliveries to job sites throughout the lower;

Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures;

Sitting/driving for long periods of time;

Promote workplace safety and encourage others to do the same;

Provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

Commercial Driver's License (Class 1) and Clean MVR;

3-5 years driving experience;

Experience with flat deck work - including tarping, strapping, chaining and general load securement;

Must be physically fit and able to meet the physical demands of the position

Clean Abstract that must be provided at time of hire Flat Deck work only, hauling divisible loads Must know Calgary and surrounding area Must be willing to go on long hauls to Vancouver area

Truck Will be provided

Wage based on experience but negotiable
