Job Description
Looking for class 1 truck driver
Responsibilities
Operate trucks and other heavy equipment to transport freight to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight during transit. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven, mileage, fuel consumption, and cargo details. Communicate effectively with dispatchers Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving. Must be able to get to job site on time for loading. Must complete required loads per day
Qualifications
Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required. Experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record is preferred. Familiarity with freight handling procedures and safety regulations is essential. Must be able to pass background checks and drug screenings as part of the hiring process.
