Join our dynamic team as a Truck Driver and become an essential part of transporting material! In this role, you will operate a commercial truck while pulling a loaded trailer of material to a location in Central Washington. Your expertise in driving and load handling will ensure the transportation of material is completed efficiently. We value safety, professionalism, and a proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a commercial truck both with and without a trailer attached. Load and unload material efficiently without damaging the trailer or truck. Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations. Navigate route driving with precision, adhering to traffic laws and company policies to ensure timely arrivals. Manage documentation accurately for each shipment, including logs, US entrance paperwork and inspection reports. Communicate proactively with the scale house regarding schedules, route adjustments, or any issues encountered during transit. Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle to uphold safety standards and operational readiness. Follow all safety protocols related to manual transmission operation and specialized equipment handling.

Skills

Class 1 driving license with proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of commercial driving regulations. Skilled in operating manual transmission vehicles safely and efficiently. Experience with various trailer types including but not limited to walking floor trailers. Ability to load & unload material accurately while preventing any possible damage to company property. Excellent driving record demonstrating safe driving habits over time. Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and clients effectively, fluency in English is required. Physical ability to handle the demands of loading/unloading material, chaining up tires and long hours on the road.
