We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to transport freight and equipment across various locations. Duties

Safely operate trucks for local or long-distance deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight Inspect vehicles regularly for maintenance issues and perform basic automotive repairs when necessary Secure freight properly to prevent damage during transit Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently Basic automotive repair skills for minor vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance Strong understanding of transportation regulations and compliance standards Excellent navigation skills with the ability to read maps or GPS systems accurately Physical stamina to load, unload, and secure freight, often involving lifting heavy items Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
