Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle freight and heavy equipment. The Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.

Responsibilities

Operate commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents during transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving to ensure safety for yourself and others on the road.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving with (Class 5 Driver's License). Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and logistics operations. Basic automotive repair skills for minor vehicle maintenance as needed. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members and clients. Strong problem-solving abilities to address challenges that may arise during transportation. Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
