Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism in all interactions.

Responsibilities

Operate trucks to transport freight to designated locations in a timely manner. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked, mileage, and fuel consumption. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding routes, schedules, and any issues that may arise during transportation. Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations. Assist with minor automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability.

Skills

Proven 2 years flat deck experience in commercial driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). Proficiency in operating forklifts and heavy equipment is highly desirable. Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety protocols. Basic knowledge of automotive repair for minor vehicle maintenance tasks. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
