Scope
The Engineering Operations Division is looking to add a Truck Driver 2 to its team. This role involves operating and performing light maintenance on a tandem axle truck equipped with seasonal attachments, as well as carrying out routine construction and maintenance duties.
Responsibilities
Load, transport, and unload materials, tools, and equipment under varying traffic and road conditions.
Conduct pre-trip inspections of equipment, including checks of oil, fuel levels, tires, lights, lubrication, and safety operations.
Operate various truck attachments such as plows, sanders, side delivery conveyors, and water tanks.
Maintain accurate records of fuel usage and vehicle mileage.
Assist crew members in the performance of assigned duties.
Assist with maintenance tasks and respond to inquiries from the public.
Qualifications
Completion of Grade 12.
Driving experience on air brake equipped trucks.
Valid Class 3 B.C. Drivers License with air brake endorsement and safe driving record.
