Scope
These positions are responsible for driving, operating and light servicing of a tandem axle truck with seasonal attachments and performing routine construction and maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities
Loading, transporting and unloading materials, tools and equipment under varying traffic and road conditions. Completing pre-trip inspection of equipment including checking oil, fuel levels, tires, lights, lubricating and safety operations. Using various truck attachments such as a plow, sander, side delivery conveyor and water tank. Keeping records of fuel levels and mileage. Assisting crew members in performing their duties. Assisting in performance of maintenance tasks and respond to inquiries from the public.
Qualifications
Completed Grade 12 and have previous driving experience on air brake equipped trucks. A Valid Class 3 B.C. Driver's License with air brake endorsement and have a safe driving record.
