Job Overview
We are seeking a responsible Driver for a 15ft Flat deck Truck to join our team. The candidate will play a crucial role in delivery of construction / formwork materials to various sites across lower mainland Vancouver and Abbotsford.
Responsibilities
Safely operate truck on designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations. Load / unload, tie down and transport formwork materials according to schedules. Communicate effectively with management, dispatch and yard workers to coordinate schedules and address any operational concerns. Knowledge of logbook admin, delivery notes, cargo securement, and basic truck maintenance Provide quality customer service when delivering to clients and adhering to all site safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Valid
Class 1
Commercial Driver's Licence Experience operating15ft' flat deck
Ability to safely tie down / secure Ability to pass a medical exam (if required) Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations Experience in construction / formwork industry (would be an asset) Clear driving & criminal recordJob Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
