Job Description

Manpower is recruiting for a Red Seal or experienced Apprentice Fleet Technician. Ideally you are an automotive, heavy equipment, truck and coach, or power lift truck technician, or are enrolled in a motive power program. Candidates with similar mechanical experience are also considered for this role. You are a results-oriented self-starter and team player, with strong communication and customer service skills.
What you will LOVE doing:

Diagnosing and repairing vehicles
Assisting with repair estimates
Recommending maintenance
Prepping, disassembling/reassembling
Supervise work of apprentice technicians as assigned

What is the job?
Red Seal or 3rd or 4th year apprentice
Maintenance & Safety inspections
Oil changes and light to heavy level work on trucks
Rebuilds, ABS diagnosis and repair.
Servicing brakes and suspension work
Basic electrical troubleshooting and repair

What do you bring to the job?
Truck and Trailer, Busses and Coach, Automotive mechanical repair experience
Strong experience with computerized diagnostics
Excellent time management and organizational Skills
Must be capable of working in a fast-paced, team environment with hard deadlines and client demands.
