Conestoga Contracting Group is a landscaping and snow removal company that is looking for a part-time

SMALL ENGINE MECHANIC

that can work summer and winter evenings (Monday to Friday) and some casual Saturdays.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE

doing

small engine repairs/ truck repairs

and be familiar with inspections. Also

MUST HAVE

ability to work after hours, alone without any assistance or supervision.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance, service and repairs on field trucks. Perform routine maintenance, service and repairs on construction equipment and machinery such as leaf blowers, trimmers, lawn-mowers, generators..including small engine repairs. Prepare vehicles and equipment for inspection. Calibrate components and instruments according to manufacturers' specifications.

Requirements

Previous experience performing routine maintenance, service and repairs on field trucks.

Previous experience performing routine maintenance, service and repairs on construction equipment and machinery such as leaf blowers, trimmers, lawn-mowers, generators..including small engine repairs.

Ability to work after hours alone without any assistance Ability to diagnose mechanical problems and successfully repair equipment Excellent communication skills verbally and electronically Ability to maintain, organized, manage equipment maintenance Ability to follow work schedule and work unsupervised Comfortable working outside if need arises. Perform site for service calls in dedicated service vans Assist with maintaining an organized shop Work effectively & cooperatively with fellow employees
