SUMMARY -

Trip Arrivals Clerk

Shift: Day Shift 06:00-18:00


The Trip Arrivals Clerk plays an active role in the trip dispatching and trip arrival process. From processing paperwork for outbound loads, to accurately entering arriving inbound trips, Trip Arrivals is integral to the freight service. Being the first point of contact for Drivers and Brokers, the Arrivals team can handle duties ranging from clerical to basic dispatching and planning.

KEY ACTIVITIES



Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:



Enter incoming trips into the dispatching system (TMW) Dispatch Drivers on outgoing trips Process trip paperwork Take Broker call-in information and update trip ETA's Front-line communications with Drivers that need assistance Create and review border crossing documents and notifications

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE



Education

Post- secondary Degree would be an asset

Experience

Previous experience in the transportation industry would be considered an asset (supply chain or logistics preferred). Strong written and verbal communications skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment High tolerance for ambiguity Basic knowledge of Windows operating system Passion for customer service Strong problem-solving skills
