Job Description

The Cannabis Trimmer will be responsible for the manual hand trimming of Cannabis. You are paid by weight, $0.15c/gram and $16.25 for any hourly work.

Main Responsibilities:

Cut branches of cannabis into different fractions including the stems, leaves, bud leaves, and cannabis flowers Conduct quality control inspections of final trimmed product Disease inspection (disease and pest identification) Quick and efficient manual trimming of cannabis using shears Understand and follow all related Standards and Procedures Complete all required documentation using good documentation practices Communicate any issues with Supervisor Maintain a clean and organized work station Sufficiently clean and sterilize all equipment and rooms post-harvest Assist other departments as necessary

Qualifications:

Must be 18 Minimum of 1 year experience as a team member is considered Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment is recommended Experience working with/ trimming Cannabis is an asset Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently Ability to stay organized and follow standard operating procedures to ensure consistency of product Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods Ability to do repetitive tasks with good hand-eye coordination Excellent communications and ability to work in a team environment Ability to multi-task and utilize time management skills Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs Comfortable working inside Must be able to use simple and basic hand tools Comfortable following all safety protocols and procedures This position involves significant exposure to cannabis/plant materials, and it is therefore not likely suitable for an employee that may suffer from allergies to cannabis/plant pollen material, or experience other medical issues, such as asthma and hay fever, as a result of cannabis/plant material exposure.
