• Develop and maintain long term strategic relationships with customers by providing consistent, accurate and timely equipment solutions advice
• Evaluate customer needs, promote and sell products and services to meet those needs and provide quality solutions to address customers needs
• Develop and maintain client information and data utilizing Finning (Canada)s CRM software to enable accurate market intelligence, pricing, estimates, and customer satisfaction
• Ensure all sales documents and customer agreements are completed in a consistent, accurate and timely manner
• Produce accurate and timely quotations on customer requirements and negotiate with them to win their business
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships within the team and with other teams
• Commitment to continuous learning and development

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of consulting sales experience in understanding and applying the basic selling principles, such as, prospecting, introducing benefits, call planning, qualifying, handling objections, follow-ups and closing the sale
• Previous outside rental sales for trench shoring equipment experience is considered an asset
• Proven sound mechanical knowledge
• Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous utilization of a customer relationship management tool
• An exceptional track record of customer coverage in a large geographic territory
• Proficient in MS office package
