Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of tree care tasks and snow removal operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in both arboriculture, landscaping and snow management, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Tree Work:

Perform tree trimming, pruning, and removal in accordance with industry standards. Use appropriate tools and equipment, including chainsaws, chippers, and climbing gear. Identify and manage potential hazards related to tree work. Ensure all work sites are left clean and safe, following proper disposal procedures for debris. Adhere to safety regulations and best practices to minimize risk of injury or property damage. Communicate effectively with clients to explain services and provide recommendations.

Snow Work:

Perform snow removal tasks, including plowing, shovelling, and salting as required. Operate snow removal equipment such as snowplows, spreaders, and skid steers. Maintain and inspect snow removal equipment to ensure optimal performance. Manage and store snow removal materials, such as salt and sand. Ensure walkways, driveways, and parking lots are safe and accessible during winter weather. Collaborate with team members to efficiently manage snow removal operations.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or training is a plus. Proven experience in tree work, including pruning, removal, and safety practices. Experience with snow removal equipment and techniques. Strong knowledge of safety procedures related to tree work and snow removal. Ability to operate and maintain specialized tools and machinery. Excellent physical stamina and strength to handle manual labor tasks. Good communication skills and the ability to work well with clients and team members. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, overnights during the snow season, and holidays, as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift heavy objects and work in varying weather conditions. Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing, lifting, and operating machinery.

Pay: $22.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
