Tree Marker
Job Description
Our Company: Allumette Forestry Inc. is based in the Ottawa Valley and is involved in all aspects of forestry, including silviculture, planning, operations and management.
Position Overview: Allumette Forestry Inc. is in search of a tree marker, ideally with some experience. Working locations will be focused in Eastern Ontario with the central location being Pembroke, Ontario. Remote camp work will be required. Training will be provided.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of tree species identification
- Ability to navigate difficult terrain in all forms of weather
- College Diploma in Forestry or related field
- Other related experience such as tree planting or logging
- Driver's license (G or equivalent)
- Tree Marker Certificate (optional)
