We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in facilitating patient care and ensuring a seamless experience from initial consultation through treatment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a background in dental or medical office settings, and the ability to communicate effectively with both patients and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
Coordinate patient treatment plans by collaborating with dental staff to ensure comprehensive care.
Manage patient records using Curve and Dexis, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Provide a professional environment, greet patients warmly, check patients in and out, manage the front desk operations efficiently.
Communicate effectively on email, especially in correspondence with specialists, sending referrals, responding to inquires.
Verify patient history, insurance, submit predeterminations, and assist with billing.
Respond to and/or send emails, texts, and/or follow-up calls, with patients, as required.
Assist patients with scheduling appointments, answering inquiries, and addressing concerns related to their treatment.
Collaborate with dental staff consistently to ensure smooth patient care, flow and treatment planning within the office.
Facilitate communication between patients and office team (hygienist, dentist, assistant, receptionist) to enhance the overall patient experience.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards within the dental office environment.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist within a dental office is required.
Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is essential.
Proficiency in using Curve, or other electronic medical record systems is highly desirable.
Strong administrative skills using email, text, electronic and phone systems
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on patient care.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are crucial for maintaining accurate patient records.
