To ensure tray pack operationsTo organize the tray pack labourers and to assist Packaging Lead Hands in the day-to-day operations of Tray PackSafety requirements: * If you are uncertain of the hazards of any piece of equipment related to this job, see your Supervisor immediately before use.

• All employees are responsible for observing GMP\'s and working in a safe manner.

• Watch out for pedestrian and other forklift traffic.
• Use the safety cage as required.
• Complete operator pre-check sheet daily.
• Required to wear PPE\'s (shield and apron for changing batteries).

Job responsibilities:

• Supply totes, full or empty as needed to Tray Pack areas.
• To break other operators for scheduled breaks or as required.
• Maintain an acceptable level of cleanliness in their assigned area by use of an air hose, etc.
• Follow GMP\'s.
• Advise supervision of any safety issues including misuse of lift trucks, within their work environment.
• Actively look for ways to improve plant sanitation.
• Actively look for ways to improve overall area operation.
• Work with WMS
• All other duties as assigned by Plant Shift Supervisor.
• Organize and coordinate all aspects of tray pack according to direction given by Supervision
• To ensure production targets are met, and Rework totes and to follow the First In First Out method
• Chemical and PPE supply will need to be kept stocked
• Make sure ATP swabs results get communicated with the viewing lab if not acceptable and to make sure ATP inventory is communicated with the lab when they need to order more.

Daily duties:

• Responsible for driving the lift and supplying totes.
• Receive product totes with WMS
• Help the screen man when needed
• Organize and coordinate all aspects of tray pack according to direction given by Supervision

NOTE: This description constitutes the minimum requirements for the Cold Storage Lift Driver Position.
