Travel Nurses ("Nurse")

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Operations Manager of Osprey, the Nurse works in collaboration with the entire health care team, the patient and family. Responsible for primary care of Emergency/Trauma patients, the main functions of the RN include, but are not limited to: assessment, intervention, education and patient advocacy. The RN supports the Philosophy of Person-Focused Care concept and principles and the Mission and Values of Osprey and Their Community Partners. The RN works closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications
Nursing Degree
Current Registered Nurse ("
RN
") in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Nursing.
Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room experience; Canadian hospital experience preferred.
Minimum 1 year of ICU/CCU experience; Critical Care or CCU certification required.
Personal Liability Insurance as required ("
PLI
")
Ability to travel between assignments is required.
Proof Of Immunizations in line with NS immunization requirements for Nurses.
