Job Overview
Pro Commercial is seeking an experienced Traveling Site Superintendent to lead ground-up and large-scale tenant improvement projects in the hospitality sector, with project values ranging from $5M to $20M. This role requires a field leader who can confidently run day-to-day operations, manage subcontractors with full authority onsite, and drive schedule execution with precision.
You will serve as the onsite decision-maker and quality guardian, ensuring projects are built safely, efficiently, and to Pro Commercial's high standards. Project Managers handle contracts and client-level scheduling; you run the field and ensure daily performance aligns with project goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Field Leadership & Execution

  • Lead all daily onsite operations and direct subcontractor activities
  • Enforce schedule milestones, ensure manpower alignment, and push productivity
  • Identify field issues early and coordinate solutions with the PM team
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite at all times
Construction Oversight
  • Interpret blueprints, specifications, and project documents accurately
  • Verify installation quality meets project standards and contract scope
  • Conduct daily job walks and track progress through photos and reports
  • Manage inspections and coordinate with authorities having jurisdiction
Safety & Compliance
  • Enforce project-specific safety plans and ensure OSHA compliance
  • Conduct daily and weekly safety meetings
  • Immediately address unsafe practices or site conditions
Coordination & Communication
  • Lead onsite subcontractor meetings
  • Communicate consistently with Project Managers to align schedule, RFIs, and material needs
  • Provide regular updates on progress, manpower, delays, and site conditions
  • Maintain clear and accurate field documentation
Scheduling & Logistics
  • Plan daily and weekly activities to maintain momentum
  • Track material deliveries, lead times, and procurement updates
  • Oversee site logistics, equipment coordination, and mobilization planning
Qualifications
  • 5+ years as a Site Superintendent in commercial construction
  • Proven experience with ground-up and hospitality projects (preferred)
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Demonstrated track record of running field operations with authority
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain daily accountability
  • Proficiency with construction technology (Procore, Bluebeam, or similar) preferred
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Must be able to travel nationwide on a 3-week rotation
